Lithium batteries power almost everything around us, from mobile phones and laptops to electric vehicles, solar backup systems, and energy storage banks. As technology grows, so does the volume of used and damaged lithium batteries. If these batteries are thrown in the trash or dumped in landfills, the chemicals inside them can leak into soil and water, and in some cases even cause fires. Recycling lithium batteries is becoming essential not only for environmental safety but also for recovering valuable materials like lithium, cobalt, nickel, graphite, and aluminum. We at solar scrap collect the cells from the customers and strip the batteries into cells and electronics (BMS) . The cells are then sorted and healthy cells are processed for reused. The damaged cells are collected and discharged and stored. Currently we do not have lithium cell recycling facility, but we are in contact with vendors in other countries and are trying to make a deal, where mass collection of cells will be exported back to the origin and recycled.
